Job summary

Design Solutions and Integration is a Midland, TX-based, employee-owned company delivering automation, electrical, and mechanical services to major energy partners. We seek Senior System Integrators with oil field experience for 8 days on, 6 days off rotations, 10-hour days, across Permian Basin sites.

Travel between field locations is required. Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s degree or higher in Instrumentation/Automation/Controls, 4+ years of oil field automation, and strong

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Instrumentation/Automation/Controls type program.
• Four years’ oil field automation experience with PLC, HMI, and instrumentation.
• Able to read blueprints and PID drawings; pass follicle drug test if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite startup, service, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Onsite PLC/HMI/ROC/Flow troubleshooting and programming.
• Onsite instrument and SCADA point-to-point mapping and verification.
• Provide field support across Permian Basin locations in TX/NM; drive between sites.

This position is in Midland, Texas working in the Permian Basin oil fields. We are looking to hire Senior System Integrators who are oil field‑experienced, self‑motivated, assertive, and dependable. 8 days on, 6 days off, 10 hours a day, overtime varies. Driving to, between, and from locations in the field daily is required in the Permian Basin of Texas and New Mexico.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Instrumentation/Automation/Controls type program
• Four years’ experience in oil field automation with PLC, HMI, and instrumentation
• Understanding of some Oil Field automation concepts related to: CTB, SWD, Well pad, LACT, Compressor, Pipeline, Storage
• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass follicle drug test if required
