Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando seeks a Multi Domain Missile System (MDMS) Test Engineering Manager to lead a team of test engineers and oversee the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems.

You will develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems, coordinate with Operations and the Factories, and drive test equipment design, verification, and validation to meet program constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years experience in a managerial/lead role.
• 5 years minimum experience in Test Engineering.
• Experience supporting budget and proposal activities.
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Multi Domain Missile System (MDMS) Test Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of test engineers and overseeing the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and/or systems. You will also be responsible for managing the development of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Managing a team of test engineers, including recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, and career development
• Partnering with Operations and the Factories to ensure test equipment adequately supports the program
• Direct the execution of Test Equipment Design, Integration, Verfication, and Validation
• Drive test equipment yield improvements
• Develop Basis of Estimates (BOE) and support proposal activity

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years experience as a Manager, Associate Manager, Technical Lead, or Lead Engineer
• 5 years minimum experience working in Test Engineering
• Previous Experience supporting budget and proposal activities
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

Desired Skills

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Experience testing electrical or electronic assemblies
• Experience with Cost Account Management (CAM) / Basis of Estimate (BOE)
• Experience developing test systems with LabVIEW and TestStand
• Knowlege of the Hellfire and JAGM missile systems
• Experience supporting test equipment in a production environment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
