Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer Associate Manager to lead the assembly, integration, and testing of hardware systems for the Long Range Hypersonics Weapon program. You will provide technical direction across development, production, and post-production phases.

You will manage in-house and COTS/GOTS components, coordinate staff, and develop test plans and schedules, ensuring all requirements, schedules, and costs are met while working onsite at

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent professional experience.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for senior leaders and customers.

As a Systems Integration and Test Engineer Associate Manager, you will lead and guide the assembly, integration, and testing of hardware systems supporting the Long Range Hypersonics Weapon program. You will provide technical direction across development, production, and post-production phases, helping deliver mission-critical capabilities to defense customers. Manage the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversee the synthesis of customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Direct the following activities: apply functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware/software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem. Manage the development and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with hardware assembly, integration, and testing operations
  • Strong attention to detail, including experience creating technical documents, test plans, and review presentations
  • Clear and effective communication skills, including presenting to senior leaders and customers
  • Comfortable presenting technical information in program reviews
  • Ability to work onsite across facilities in Huntsville, Alabama
Desired Skills
Certifications & Experience
  • Certified Test Conductor or Certified Principal Engineer
  • Experience with missile defense systems hardware integration and checkout
  • Familiarity with Hypersonics or Strategic Missile Defense programs
  • Experience developing detailed hardware tests
  • Experience creating and executing test procedures in Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO) environments
Technical Skills & Tools
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and specifications
  • Experience supporting Failure Review Boards and Engineering Change Control Boards
  • Familiarity with tools such as SAP, EPDM, VECAMS, JIRA, Automation Framework, or similar systems
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams or projects
  • Demonstrated Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
