Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Discipline Engineer for the F-35 Integrated Test Force at Edwards AFB, CA. You will support mission planning, expand utilities and subsystems capabilities, and work with flight test teams to plan, execute, and analyze flight tests.

You will perform post-mission data analysis, lead complex troubleshooting of aircraft anomalies, and review documentation to facilitate fielding of vehicle systems components.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related STEM discipline is required.
  • Demonstrated experience with Utilities and Subsystems design, integration, or flight test.
  • Fault isolation and problem analysis experience at the subsystem level.
  • Experience with drawing/schematics reading and interpretation.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain government security clearance is required.

We are Lockheed Martin

The F-35 Integrated Test Force at Edwards AFB, CA is seeking a Discipline Engineer to support current mission planning tasking and to expand the Utilities and Subsystems capabilities for F-35 Developmental Test. Candidate will work directly with the flight test team, pilots, and the Subsystems IPT to plan, execute, and analyze flight test events. Perform post-mission data analysis, lead complex troubleshooting aircraft anomalies, and review and update documentation and instructions to facilitate fielding of vehicle systems components.

Job entails aircraft system monitoring and troubleshooting anomalies in real time. Support root cause analysis for off nominal events and generate corrective action recommendations. Provide technical support to test pilots, flight test crews, and maintenance personnel as needed.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
