Lockheed Martin in the United States seeks a Senior Test Engineer to plan, implement, test and document integration efforts for in-house and COTS/GOTS components across subsystems. You will work to translate customer requirements into testable solutions, resolve interface issues, and drive comprehensive test plans for performance validation.

The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on lab experience, and the ability to coordinate with diverse teams while maintaining schedule and budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Systems or Mechanical Engineering or related STEM.
• Foundational understanding of systems integration, verification, and test principles.
• Experience using standard laboratory or electronic test equipment through coursework, internships, or professional assignments.
• Ability to collect, analyze, document, and communicate test results accurately.
• Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills for hardware/software issues.
• Proficiency with productivity and data-analysis tools, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting quality and schedule requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance or program access.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for integration and testing.
• Synthesizes customer needs into system test solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Establishes specifications and standards; solves hardware/software interface problems.
• Reviews and derives testability requirements; prepares comprehensive test plans and schedules.
• Coordinates testing activities with programs and other organizations.
• Analyzes test results and prepares evaluation reports to verify system performance.
• Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify fixes.
