Job summary

The Structures Company, a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency, is seeking a Systems Integration/Test Engineer for a 12-month contract in Orlando, FL. Responsible for generating and executing integration and test plans, supporting DVT/ESS/EMI, and leading lab operations with a focus on sensor integration.

Active Secret Clearance is required to start; U.S. Person/ITAR compliance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required to start.
• US Person (ITAR) required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics.
• 2+ years engineering experience.
• 1+ years system integration and/or test experience.
• 2+ years test planning, execution, lab operations, and analysis.
• 2+ years developing test documentation (plans, procedures, reports).
• Experience with test fixture design and DVT.
• Experience with Environmental Qualification Testing.
• Experience with EMI testing.

Responsibilities

• Generates and executes sub-system and system level integration and test plans.
• Prepares test equipment and facilities for test events.
• Supports DVT and Qualification tests (ESS, EMI, ATP).
• Investigates and resolves hardware, software, and test equipment anomalies.
• Provides engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to missile systems.
• Leads Lab Operations ensuring compliance and audits.
• Develops test documentation (plans, procedures, reports).
• Performs test planning, execution, lab operations, and analysis.
• Works with hardware integration focusing on sensor integration.

Summary

• Generates and executes sub-system and system level integration and test plans and procedures.
• Supports preparation of test equipment and facilities required for test events.
• Supports Design Verification Tests (DVT) and Qualification tests including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for new hardware.
• Supports failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software, and test equipment anomalies during system and subsystem testing.
• Provides engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to existing missile systems.
• Leads Lab Operations to ensure compliance, 6S, and regular audit and inspections.
• Works with Engineering Operations Directorate to synergize working relationships.
• Develops test documentation such as test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Performs test planning, test execution, lab operations, and test analysis.
• Works with hardware integration with a focus on sensor integration.

Requirements

• Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.
• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace) or Physics.
• 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• 1+ years of system integration and/or test experience.
• 2+ years of test planning, test execution, lab operations, and test analysis principle experience.
• 2+ years of developing test documentation such as test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Experience with test fixture design, test procedure development, and Development Verification Test (DVT).
• Experience with Environmental Qualification Testing.
• Experience with EMI Testing.
