Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO, is seeking a Platform Systems Test Engineer to plan, implement, test, document and maintain the CPS Platform Systems Test Programs with support from the CPS Platform Systems Test Team. The role focuses on deriving testability requirements, creating comprehensive test plans, and coordinating testing across stakeholders.

Requirements include experience writing technical documents and executing test procedures, plus the ability to read engineering drawings

Qualifications

  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Prior experience in test planning, execution, and reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain CPS Platform Systems Test Programs.
  • Develop test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems.
  • Coordinate subsystem and system testing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze test results and prepare evaluation reports to verify system performance.
  • Write discrepancy reports and perform regression testing to verify fixes.

The Platform Systems Test Engineer Will Plan, Implement, Test, Document, And Maintain The CPS Platfrom Systems Test Programs With Support Of The CPS Platform Systems Test Team. The Platform Systems Test Engineer Will Perform The Following

  • Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
  • Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
  • Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience with or willingness to learn how to write technical documents and execute test procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Must be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Desired Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Work experience in the Aerospace and/or Defense industry
  • Experience working with SAP, EPDM, DOORs, CREO, CAMEO, Automation Framework, or industry equivalent(s)
  • Experience in an assembly/integration and test environment
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and seek new challenges
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
