AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to design, verify, and deploy multi-domain mission systems at the Naval Support Facility in Arlington, VA. The role involves collaborating with engineers, operators, and stakeholders to translate operational needs into clear requirements and integrate hardware, software, sensors, and mission systems to deliver end-to-end capabilities.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access and SAP eligibility.
• 5-7 years of related experience in systems engineering, systems integration, hardware/software integration and test, or mission-system development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Ability to work full-time, on-site in a SCIF environment in Arlington, Virginia.

Responsabilités

• Support development of system-of-systems architectures integrating hardware, software, sensors, and mission capabilities.
• Partner with researchers, engineers, operators, and mission stakeholders to develop and maintain traceable system requirements.
• Develop systems engineering artifacts, including requirements documentation, architecture products, interface control documents, and technical documentation.
• Define and manage physical, electrical, logical, and data interfaces between internal components and external systems.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve technical and integration issues.
• Develop integration strategies and test plans to verify subsystem performance and demonstrate end-to-end mission capability.
• Support laboratory and field testing, operational demonstrations, test-result analysis, and corrective engineering actions.
