Job summary

Constellation Technologies is seeking a security-focused engineer to support DoD-style environments. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, U.S. citizenship, and extensive Linux and security experience.

You will work with cloud, container, and infrastructure tools to secure and monitor systems. Ideal candidates have experience deploying nginx, Docker, and AWS in hardened configurations, plus IaC (Terraform, SALT, Ansible) and monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.

Qualifications

Eligibility and Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. citizen. Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Must have five (05) years of direct/relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.

Must have an IAT Tier 1 certification such as Security+ CE. Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux experience.
• Experience in network or system administration.
• Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
• Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage.
• Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.
• Experience deploying and maintaining nginx.
• Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite.
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with SELinix and FIPS.

Technical Skills
