The role emphasizes strong technical abilities in HL7, XML, REST/SOAP web services, and SQL, with Epic certifications required within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A BA/BS degree is preferred.
• 1 year experience with an interface engine required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with interface development using XML, HL7, FTP, or TCP/IP.
• Epic certification(s) required within 6 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design system specifications.
• Modify system build and data mapping.
• Establish interfaces between systems.
• Develop and modify code, functions, programs, and routines.
• Resolve and escalate integration issues; provide consulting to teams.
• Design and evaluate new data interchange formats; document policies.
