Job summary

Cook Children’s is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer in Fort Worth to deliver high-quality interoperability solutions across clinical and business operations. You will design, develop, test, maintain and debug interfaces between Epic Bridges, Corepoint, GoAnywhere MFT, and other tools, focusing on laboratory, radiology, billing, pharmacy, and HIE workflows.

The role requires strong technical ability with data mapping, system specifications, and problem solving, plus experience with HL7,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A BA/BS degree is preferred.
• 1 year experience with an interface engine required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with interface development using XML, HL7, FTP, or TCP/IP, healthcare environment preferred.
• Epic certification within 6 months from date of hire; two test retakes allowed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design system specifications for integration.
• Modify system builds and data mappings.
• Establish interfaces and develop or modify code and routines.
• Provide consulting on IT integrations to clinical and business teams.
• Document data policies, standards and procedures.
