Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann Company, is seeking a hands-on Systems Integration Engineer to bring together hardware, software, and mechanical components into fully functioning platforms for prototypes and production readiness.

The role is primarily on-site with ~30% travel to labs, suppliers, and facilities to support builds, integration activities, and issue resolution. Strong collaboration across engineering and manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience integrating and troubleshooting complex hardware/software systems in a laboratory, manufacturing, or production environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and embedded system fundamentals.
• Experience performing structured root cause analysis and debugging multidisciplinary system issues.
• Working knowledge of Python, C++, or another object-oriented programming language.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, supplier, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

Systems Integration Engineer

Seeking a hands-on Systems Integration Engineer to support the integration, bring-up, troubleshooting, and validation of complex electromechanical systems. This role is responsible for combining hardware, software, and mechanical components into fully functioning platforms, supporting prototype builds, system validation, and manufacturing readiness. This is a primarily onsite position with approximately 30% travel to engineering labs, supplier locations, and manufacturing facilities to support builds, integration activities, and issue resolution.

Scope

• Integrate hardware, electrical, and software components into complete system builds.

• Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and other electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Experience supporting prototype builds, manufacturing integration, new product introduction (NPI), or production launches in a fast-paced engineering environment.
