Job summary

Zaden Technologies, Inc. is seeking an integration engineer to onboard new test programs and align in-flight infrastructure with our DoD-focused platform standards. You will coordinate changes across platform, infrastructure and cyber teams to ensure secure, compliant cutovers.

The role requires hands-on scripting, VMware or cloud infrastructure experience, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain DHA background clearance. DoD 8140 readiness is highly valued.

Job description

Zaden Technologies is a defense technology company based in Huntsville, Alabama. We build AI, DevSecOps and digital engineering products and put them to work for DoD customers.

Bring new programs and in-flight projects onto a shared DoD test platform without breaking the work already running on it.

You'll support a new Defense Health Agency program. This position is contingent upon contract award, and the start date will align with the program start.

What you’ll do:

• Onboard new test programs and their environments
• Integrate in-flight infrastructure initiatives with the platform standards
• Write integration runbooks and test the cutovers
• Work with the platform, infrastructure and cyber teams on each change

Must have:

• 3 or more years in systems integration or infrastructure engineering
• Experience with VMware or cloud infrastructure
• Scripting in Python, PowerShell or Bash
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and keep the background investigation DHA designates for this position
• DoD 8140 qualification for your work role before privileged access, or the ability to earn it within six months

Nice to have:

• Terraform or Ansible
• Experience in a DoD or federal environment
• An active Secret clearance or higher

Location:

Chantilly, Virginia (Washington, D.C. area) is preferred, on site at the test center. Remote from Huntsville, Alabama, or from anywhere in the continental U.S. also works, through government-approved virtual desktop access, with trips to Chantilly when the work needs them.

Citizenship:

U.S. citizenship is required for the investigation this role needs. Zaden's FSO verifies investigation status.

Pay range: $114,000 to $163,000 per year. Your location and experience set where you land in the range.
