Job summary

Zaden Technologies is seeking a DevSecOps engineer to automate DoD test environments using Terraform, Ansible and GitLab CI at our Chantilly, VA test center. On-site role with opportunities to influence IaC standards and CI pipelines.

You will write and maintain infrastructure code, build VM templates, automate patching and STIG checks, and support program test teams. Candidates must have 3+ years DevOps experience and U.S.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years in DevOps, DevSecOps or systems automation.
• Hands-on Terraform or Ansible, and a CI tool such as GitLab CI.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and keep the background investigation DHA designates for this position.
• DoD 8140 qualification for your work role before privileged access, or the ability to earn it within six months.
• Nice to have: vSphere experience.
• Nice to have: Python or PowerShell scripting.
• Nice to have: An active Secret clearance or higher.

Zaden Technologies is a defense technology company based in Huntsville, Alabama. We build AI, DevSecOps and digital engineering products and put them to work for DoD customers.

Automate how DoD test environments get built, patched and torn down, using Terraform, Ansible and GitLab CI.

You'll support a new Defense Health Agency program. This position is contingent upon contract award, and the start date will align with the program start.

What you'll do:

• Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code and pipeline jobs
• Build VM templates and configuration baselines
• Automate patching and STIG compliance checks
• Support environment requests from the program test teams

Must have:

• 3 or more years in DevOps, DevSecOps or systems automation
• Hands-on Terraform or Ansible, and a CI tool such as GitLab CI
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and keep the background investigation DHA designates for this position
• DoD 8140 qualification for your work role before privileged access, or the ability to earn it within six months

Nice to have:

Location:

Chantilly, Virginia (Washington, D.C. area) is preferred, on site at the test center. Remote from Huntsville, Alabama, or from anywhere in the continental U.S. also works, through government-approved virtual desktop access, with trips to Chantilly when the work needs them.

Citizenship:

U.S. citizenship is required for the investigation this role needs. Zaden's FSO verifies investigation status.

Pay range: $112,000 to $153,000 per year. Your location and experience set where you land in the range.
