Systems Integration Engineer

The Opportunity:

• Work on a small team to develop, maintain, and improve existing software systems
• Execute the research, engineering, and development of solutions to support operational capabilities
• Optimize legacy operational software systems to meet evolving cybersecurity requirements
• Apply system-level knowledge (OS and hardware) to diagnose issues and provide solutions
• Support infrastructure for pre-mission configuration management and post-mission data workflows for our customer

Responsibilities:

• Refine and enhance existing applications to meet customer and operational requirements
• Develop and maintain documentation to meet contract requirements
• Travel onsite periodically to integrate operational systems and updates
• Profile, analyze, and optimize legacy software, operating systems, and security hardening

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
• Solid Linux system and scripting experience with Python, Bash, and/or Ansible
• Basic understanding of software design, patterns, tools, and practices
• Understanding of virtualization and hypervisor configuration
• Knowledge of computer networking and equipment

Desired:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Experience with CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, or CircleCI
• Knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and best practices
• Familiarity with device boot processes (BIOS, UEFI, PXE)
• Experience with NVIDIA GPU virtualization
• Knowledge of Metal-as-a-Service metasystems like OpenShift
