Systems Integration Engineer

The Opportunity:
  • Work on a small team to develop, maintain, and improve existing software systems
  • Execute research, engineering, and development of solutions to support operational capabilities
  • Optimize legacy operational software systems to meet evolving cybersecurity requirements
  • Apply system-level knowledge (OS and hardware) to diagnose issues and provide solutions
  • Work on infrastructure providing pre-mission configuration management and post-mission data workflows to support warfighters
Responsibilities:
  • Refine and enhance existing applications to meet customer and operational requirements
  • Develop and maintain documentation to meet contract requirements
  • Travel onsite periodically to integrate systems and updates
  • Profile, analyze, and optimize legacy software, operating systems, and security requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or relevant experience
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain TS/SCI clearance
  • Solid Linux system and scripting experience with Python, Bash, and/or Ansible
  • Basic understanding of software design, patterns, tools, and best practices
  • Basic understanding of virtualization and hypervisor configuration
  • Basic understanding of computer networking and equipment
Desired:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Experience with CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, or CircleCI
  • Understanding of distributed systems, networking, and design patterns
  • Familiarity with device boot processes (BIOS, UEFI, PXE)
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU virtualization
  • Experience with Metal-as-a-Service metasystems like OpenShift

Pay Range:

Proposed salary range: $63,800 - $127,500 USD. Compensation depends on various factors including location, experience, skills, and education. We offer comprehensive benefits supporting health, wellness, retirement, and education.
