Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Systems Integration & Test (SI&T) Engineer to support test and verification of RF sensor systems. You will lead integration, troubleshooting, and testing across hardware and software in development and production environments.

This role requires a DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and onsite work in Baltimore. Collaboration with software, firmware, and hardware teams to define test cases and plans is essential; experience with MATLAB and C/C++

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or a Master’s degree; 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain Special Program Access prior to start.
• Candidate must be a US citizen.
• Experience with RF lab test equipment: signal generator, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving HW/SW/FW integration problems.
• Experience coding in MATLAB to support coding, test scripting, data analysis, and signal processing.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Experience working a system bench, running acceptance test plans, writing test reports, troubleshooting hardware and software, communicating status updates.
• Experience with Environmental, EMI/EMC integration and testing.
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities

• Integration, troubleshooting, and testing RF sensor systems.
• Support integration environment development and establishment (Labs).
• Collaborate with software, firmware, and hardware teams to define test cases and develop test capabilities.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure testing produces expected data points.
• Support the development and maintenance of system integration plans and system test plans.
