Job summary

Encore Electric, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer 1 in Denver, CO to assist with project estimates under the guidance of senior staff.

The role involves reviewing specifications, performing material and labor take-offs, and assembling thorough estimation packages for proposals. The candidate will interact with manufacturers and vendors, gather bid information, study plans, and support the preconstruction team to deliver accurate estimates within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of industry experience.
• Baseline knowledge of technology/low voltage systems including AV, structured cabling, security & access control.
• AVIXA/BICSI or manufacturer certifications are a plus.
• Jetbuilt or other estimating software experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; related degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of proposals by reviewing specs and plans.
• Perform full take-offs, counting devices and equipment; enter data into estimating system.
• Coordinate with Systems Engineer 2 and Senior Engineer for estimates and timelines.
• Interact with vendors to obtain best solutions, pricing and lead times.
• Support preconstruction and operations teams to meet deadlines.
