The University of Utah's Department of Mechanical Engineering invites applications for a career-line lecturer to teach Systems Engineering courses on campus and online starting Fall 2027.

The successful candidate will teach Fundamentals of Systems Engineering and Systems Engineering and Integration, develop new courses in SIME, and may supervise a summer class for additional pay, with a 2-3 teaching load per year and potential online course delivery.

Formación

• The candidate must hold a terminal degree (Ph.D., Doctor of Engineering or Sc.D.).
• Evidence of quality teaching and the ability to teach graduate classes online and in person.

Responsabilidades

• Teach Fundamentals of Systems Engineering and Systems Engineering and Integration courses.
• Develop new courses in Systems, Industrial and Management Engineering (SIME).
• Engage online and on-campus students with high-quality instruction.
• Contribute to program growth and course offerings, including potential summer classes.
