The role requires a strong foundation in systems engineering, 7+ years in aerospace/high-tech environments, and proven leadership to translate strategy into executable plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years in aerospace, defense, or related high-tech industry.
• 3+ years of technical leadership managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven success leading complex projects across engineering domains.
• Strong systems engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a diverse team of technical professionals across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Establish team vision, roadmap and operational structure to meet objectives.
• Drive technical integration across specialties to fulfill program needs.
• Collaborate with program leadership to define priorities and allocate resources.
• Foster cross-functional partnerships within Blue Origin and manage risks.
• Champion innovation while delivering practical, implementable solutions.
• Set technical standards and best practices across disciplines.
