Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer Lead to drive the planning, execution, and scheduling of technical instructions for the UK NAS-R program. You will bridge gaps between systems architecture and field deployment, ensuring standardized, repeatable, and safety-compliant blueprints for operation teams.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years of relevant experience (or 2–6 with a Master’s) and strong proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Technical Communications, Computer Science, or related field with 4–8 years of experience; or Master’s with 2–6 years of experience.
Advanced proficiency with modern documentation platforms, task-tracking systems, and project scheduling tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence or MS Project).

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end strategy, planning, and scheduling of technical and work instructions for the UK NAS-R program.
Develop and sustain knowledge management frameworks to streamline service delivery operations.
Collect and evaluate operational data to improve productivity, scalability, and procedural innovation.
Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and technical training for internal teams and external customers.
Validate instructions with engineering leadership and test engineers, adapting documentation to evolving goals and deadlines.
