Job summary

Leidos in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer to support the UK NASR PDT. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and executing integration and test plans for real-time, high-availability systems in a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days in the office.

You will lead formal test events, develop automated scripts, manage defects, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 4+ years of professional experience, or a Master's with 2+ years.
• Ability to obtain SF-85P Public Trust clearance from FAA customer.
• Experience leading integration and test activities for complex software systems.
• Experience in UNIX/Linux environments and test lifecycle advancement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute integration and test plans, procedures, and cases verifying functionality and requirements compliance.
• Lead formal test events: FAT, Functional, System & Integration, UAT.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts (HP ALM, Selenium).
• Track test execution status and produce detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Manage defects, change requests, and action items through resolution.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate test readiness reviews.
• Collaborate with software/system engineers to ensure testability and schedule alignment.
