Job summary

RTX is seeking an engineering intern to participate in a collaborative integrated product team and support the design, integration, verification and validation of avionics CNS products. You will gain hands-on experience in requirements management, systems architecture, test planning and data analysis.

As an intern, you will contribute to documentation of engineering work in compliance with company and regulatory standards while learning how to work with cross-functional teams across the US

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and enrolled through internship/co-op completion.
• Minimum of 60 credit hours by start of internship/co-op, earned via coursework, projects or on-the-job experience.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co‑op session. Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

We Prefer

• Understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management.
• Displays experience in any of the scripting languages, like Python, Perl.
• Strong interest in the aerospace industry and related fields.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
