Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Rolling Meadows, IL seeks an intern for Systems Engineering. You will build MBSE artifacts, trace requirements, and support integration tests within the MSTS division.

This internship requires full-time summer availability, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. The program offers training, networking, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Student enrolled full-time and pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree
• Majors include Electrical Engineering, CS, CE, Physics, Applied Math, Systems Engineering, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks in Summer 2027
• Must be able to obtain/maintain U.S. Government security clearance and U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Create and refine Model Based System Engineering products
• Trace requirements to test plans and results to track progress and identify gaps
• Update and maintain system drawings and documents
• Evaluate complex electronics systems from hardware/software through installation
• Execute integration test activities in System Integration Labs
• Analyze and model data to support algorithm development
