Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking Systems Engineers for an internship at the Mission Systems sector, Rolling Meadows, IL. You will join the Multidomain Sensing, Targeting and Survivability division to design, integrate, and test advanced systems for national security and defense applications.

You will work on MBSE products, trace requirements, and support integration efforts with a team that values innovation, collaboration, and adherence to security protocols. U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be a student enrolled full-time in Fall 2027 pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
• Majors include Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine Model Based System Engineering products.
• Trace requirements to test plans, procedures, and results to track program progress.
• Update and maintain system drawings and documents.
• Evaluate complex electronics systems from hardware/software design through aircraft installation.
• Execute integration test activities in System Integration Labs (SILs).
• Analyze and model data to support algorithm development and optimization.
