Job summary

Bracco Medical Technologies in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, is seeking a Systems Engineering Co-op/Intern to assist in defining requirements, system architecture, testing, and traceability for interventional cardiology and diagnostic imaging devices.

You will work under a senior systems engineer, gain hands-on experience with Jama and other tools, and participate in a buddy program, career development, and networking opportunities within Bracco’s multidisciplinary product development team.

Qualifications

• Minimum: two years of study toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a science field.
• Preferred: biomedical, electrical, mechanical, software, or systems engineering program enrollment.
• Experience with requirement and test management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the definition of user needs, system and subsystem requirements, and system architecture.
• Develop and perform testing to support architectural decisions and system characterization.
• Remediate requirements to align with the selected architecture of fielded devices.
• Use traceability tools to connect system artifacts and requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to diagnose product issues.
• Perform trade-off analyses to aid technical decisions.
• Acquire, analyze, and report results for product testing and reliability data.
