Job summary

Bracco Medical Technologies in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, is seeking a Systems Engineering Co-op/Intern to assist in defining requirements, system architecture, testing, and traceability for interventional cardiology and diagnostic imaging devices.

You will work under a senior systems engineer, gain hands-on experience with Jama and other tools, and participate in a buddy program, career development, and networking opportunities within Bracco’s multidisciplinary product development team.

Qualifications

Minimum: two years of study toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a science field.
Preferred: biomedical, electrical, mechanical, software, or systems engineering program enrollment.
Experience with requirement and test management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support the definition of user needs, system and subsystem requirements, and system architecture.
Develop and perform testing to support architectural decisions and system characterization.
Remediate requirements to align with the selected architecture of fielded devices.
Use traceability tools to connect system artifacts and requirements.
Collaborate with team members to diagnose product issues.
Perform trade-off analyses to aid technical decisions.
Acquire, analyze, and report results for product testing and reliability data.
