Job summary
Bracco Medical Technologies in Eden Prairie, MN, seeks a Research and Development Engineering Co‑op to join the cardiovascular systems team. You will gain hands-on experience in medical device development, including prototyping, testing, and data analysis under supervision.
The program covers state-of-the-art equipment, literature reviews, and reports, with a buddy program and career development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or closely related field (Only candidates with at least 2 years of study toward a bachelor's will be considered)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of principles of engineering and mechanical design
- Knowledge of principles of data acquisition and study design
- Mechanical or electrical lab testing experience.
- Ability to establish clear priorities and multi‑task in a high‑volume setting responsive to externally generated deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Support principal engineer on active jobs
- Complete assigned research projects
- Test fixture fabrication
- Test execution and data collection
- Reporting; technical reports, manuscripts, abstracts, posters
