Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Systems Engineering Co-Op in Troy, MI for a part-time internship. You will assist in generating system engineering work products and help resolve issues affecting ADAS, Vision, and Access System features during integration and testing on vehicles.

The role rotates through System Engineering, System Validation & Tools Development, and Software, offering hands-on experience with stakeholder requirement allocation and traceability under a global automotive leader.

Qualifications

• You are a currently a student pursuing your Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Please note that this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Allocate Stakeholder requirements for analysis (starting from DTL Allocation) to the System team (customer functions under Function Lead responsibility) and product supporting function (under Product System Engineer responsibility)
• Establish traceability between stakeholder, system and metier requirements (not responsible for creating traceability links)
• Assist Feature / Function Owners in the integration of ADAS / Vision / Access System features into the system bench and on the test vehicles
• Support problem resolution and change management for ADAS / Vision / Access System features together with Hardware, Software and System Validation Engineers
