Job summary

Valeo is seeking an Application Engineering Intern to gain hands‑on experience in active safety and driver assistance technologies, including park assist, automated parking, collision avoidance, and blind spot detection. You will work closely with application engineers, system teams, and mechanical designers on vehicle testing, component integration, and data analysis.

Seeking a current student or recent graduate to start as soon as possible and work year‑round at Auburn Hills, MI and Troy, MI

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree, or recent graduate.
• Fundamental understanding of mechanical principles and basic vehicle dynamics.
• Strong problem-solving, motivation, and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle testing and validation support on test tracks and lab environments.
• Review system requirements, create basic test cases, and support log/trace analysis.
• Assist with sensor integration, ECU flashing, and calibration setup.
• Draft test specifications, reports, and configuration sheets with teams.
