Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or related fields.
• Two years of experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting using code debugging or log analysis.
• Experience with Windows and UNIX operating systems, including shell scripting.
• Experience across SDLC from requirements gathering to support.
• Experience monitoring cloud systems performance and diagnosing issues using query plans and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience with Windows systems management and enterprise tools like Configuration Manager.
• Experience with public Cloud providers such as Azure and AWS, and IaC scripts for deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise across engineering domains including datacenter design, networks, storage, grid compute, operating systems, databases, and software languages.
• Identify internal hardware and implement public and private cloud-based solutions for on-demand scaling of applications.
• Assist in creating automated testing processes, standards, solutions and tools to ensure smooth operation of the firm’s businesses.
• Apply data mining and machine learning techniques to identify and react to problems in the firm’s infrastructure and platforms.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve application issues by documenting repetitive error resolutions and minimizing operational errors.
• Assist in developing and monitoring reports to track and manage application health and support service performance.
• Assist in monitoring risk in production and change management processes; help automate failures using ML techniques.
• Review and assess production incidents and communicate with users, application owners, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Develop sustainable systems and services through automation, performance tuning and database queries.
• Assist with business continuity planning and disaster recovery and plan contingency plans.
