Parsons is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our Federal Solutions team in the Baltimore area. You will engineer IT tools, systems, and capabilities to support cyber operations, coordinate with government and engineers, and guide system integration planning.

You must hold an active TS/SCI with Poly and a DoD 8570 IASAE II certification, with a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience.

• Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process.

• Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering considerations and issues.
• Oversee the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables in Systems Engineering.
• Communicate with program personnel, Government overseers, and senior executives.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through system engineering plans and test plans.
• Analyze complex information and take appropriate action to resolve problems.
• Provide engineering guidance to technical staff and establish relationships with Government agencies.
• Deliver briefings on complex topics to groups, including high-level decision makers.
• Work on complex research projects as senior contributor within a team.
• Design and deliver solutions.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to engineer projects that will develop and implement next-generation IT tools, systems, and capabilities to help revolution the cyber battlefield and ensure the superiority of our cyber forces over our adversaries.You'll coordinate with external entities, work with our administrators and engineers to ensure ample support, work with developers to build and modify the required software, support testers to ensure the mission effect is achieved.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process
• Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation
• Interact with the GovernmentregardingSystems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts
• Oversee the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility
• Communicate with other program personnel, Government overseers, and senior executives
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
• Analyze complex information and independently takesappropriate actionsto resolve problems
• Provide engineering guidance to technical staff andestablisheseffective working relationships with other Government agencies and mission partners
• Deliver briefings on complex topics to groups, which may include high-level decision makers
• Work complex research projects as senior contributors and as part of an integrated research team
• Design and deliver solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI w/Poly
• Minimum ofBachelor’s Degreefrom an accredited college or university in System Engineering or related disciplineand 5 years of systems engineering experience. 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Active DoD 8570 IASAE Level II Certification or higher. Ex: CISSP, CASP+CE, CSSLP

Preferred / Desired Skills:

• Master's degree and 3+ years of experience
• Exposure to Cloud/AWS
• A problem solver who can get in, be given a project, and use engineering skills todeterminea solution
• Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)
• Able to build systems from the ground up - network architecture/systems engineering

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
