Job summary

Eqvilentjobs is seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to deliver end-to-end infrastructure setups across regions, manage Linux servers, automation, and performance tuning.

You will work remotely from anywhere in the world, participate in on-call rotations for trading infrastructure, and collaborate with network, hardware, and vendor partners to ensure reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience with Linux and systems troubleshooting.
• Ability to debug across layers and coordinate with network and hardware engineers.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, routing basics, MTU, packet loss and jitter.
• Automation mindset with bash or Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Build repeatable automation and rollout playbooks with Terraform, Ansible and scripting.
• Improve observability: metrics, logs, dashboards, alert tuning and latency baselines.
• Strengthen operations through runbooks, incident reviews (RCA), change hygiene and documentation.
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations for trading infrastructure.
