Job summary

ASRC Federal Data Networks Corporation seeks a Software Systems Engineer to serve as the technical integrator for the TraCSS SAFe ecosystem, bridging government strategy and multi-vendor execution. You will work with the Release Train Engineer, System Integrator, and Scrum Masters to maintain architectural runway and clear program-level roadblocks.

The role requires hands-on Java/Python development, microservices architecture, and cloud experience across AWS/Azure/GCP, plus strong leadership in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5–7 years’ experience as a System Engineer, Solution Architect, or Product Owner within SAFe or large Agile Release Train.
• Must pass NOAA background screening and sign an Office of Space Commerce NDA.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical big picture for system integration across the Agile Release Train (ART).
• Coordinate with Presentation Layer and System Integrator contractors, O/Os, and vendors to resolve engineering and integration issues.
• Translate stakeholder needs into technical clarity; assist Epic/Story creation and backlog refinement.
• Identify technical risks and mitigation strategies; support troubleshooting of escalated failures.
• Represent the program in technical discussions with agencies and industry partners to align data standards.
