Lockheed Martin in Colorado is seeking a Systems Engineer to perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses, and supportability assessments across all life cycle stages. You will translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications while considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

The role requires MBSE experience, ICD development, and an active DoD Top Secret clearance.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.

Basic Qualifications

• Working knowledge or experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using CAMEO or similar tools


• Experience with systems requirements, verification, development, management, and validation


• Experience with the development and verification of Interface Control Documents (ICDs)


• Current/Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, thus US Citizenship is required

• Demonstrated experience with development and delivery of space subsystems and components

• Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00
