Job summary

Information Systems Solutions, Inc. seeks a Systems Engineer Senior to support the U‑SIEM engineering team and mission systems for US Army/NETCOM.

The role is fully onsite at Fort Huachuca, AZ, with responsibilities spanning troubleshooting, cross-team collaboration, and delivering timely task completions. The candidate should have 5+ years of related experience, strong Linux and virtualization skills, and experience writing A&A/SSP-related reports.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience writing technical reports related to Authorization & Accreditation (A&A) and System Security Plans (SSP)
• Demonstrated proficiency with Linux, virtualization platforms and SIEMs
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field or equivalent experience
• Active security clearance (Secret) or ability to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Support the U‑SIEM Engineering Team and its customers to ensure mission deliverables are met
• Collaborate with team members and coordinate with the customer as directed by the Task Lead
• Drive timely completions of work and adapt to changing tasking
• Solve varied technical issues and apply research to new challenges
• Work effectively as part of a large, distributed team and use Linux OS, VMware, and SIEMs daily

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a Systems Engineer Sr. As a Systems Engineer Senior, the work you’ll do at ISS will be impactful to the mission of US Army/NETCOM. You will play a crucial role in the engineering and support of the U‑SIEM task.

This position is 100% onsite.

Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Support the U‑SIEM Engineering Team and its customers to ensure mission deliverables are met.
• Collaborate with the members of the team and coordinate with the customer as directed by the Task Lead.
• Drive timely completions of work with the ability to adapt to changes in tasking assignments.
• Solve varies technical issues.
• Adapt to new technical challenges through research and professional abilities. Work effectively as part of a large, distributed team.
• Utilize Linux OS platform, VMWare virtualization and SIEMs as part of your day-to-day responsibilities.

• Literate in popular flavors of Linux. A keen understanding of virtualization platforms is strongly preferred.
