Job summary

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires documenting all phases of design, implementation, and maintenance for deploying new systems or upgrading existing ones to FS sites.

The candidate should have deep knowledge of multiple communications technologies, virtualization, system architecture, Linux and Windows administration, and Cisco networking.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance.
• Experience with IT systems, SIGINT platforms, and complex documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Job description

This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
2HB Incorporated is seeking a Systems Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for the documentation of all phases of the design, implementation, and maintenance for the deployment of new systems or upgrading current systems to FS sites (e.g. drafting preliminary design reviews, mission transition plans).
Requirements:

• Deep understanding of multiple communications technologies, virtualization, systems architecture, and infrastructure for IT systems and SIGINT platforms.
• Proficient in designing, interpreting, and modifying System and Network Engineering Drawings (Visio, Adobe)
• Expertise in system and network administration across diverse platforms, including Linux and Windows environments.
• Extensive experience in network and data processing system integration, hardware and software configuration, deployment, and sustainment.
• Understanding/experience in Cisco networking, including routers, switches, and security protocols.
• Skilled in network and data processing system integration, including rack and stack installation, cabling, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices.
• The ability to create detailed system documentation and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (JIRA and Confluence).
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Sharepoint
