Our team develops new global military satellite communications (MILSATCOM) ground systems that manage transmission of protected tactical waveform (a type of secure, anti-jam communication) over Boeing-built Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellites and terminals.
Space and Launch work with proprietary customers and creates next generation technologies in space.
We work all facets of engineering: technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments.
The Satellite Systems Engineer is part of a high-performing team immersed in dynamic satellite operations and engineering activities.
As a member of our WGS on-orbit team, you support operations and engineering for 10 on-orbit satellites.
This position is expected to be fully onsite at Schriever SFB, CO and necessitates the ability to navigate the military base worksite where there are buildings without elevators and a long walk from the parking lot.
