Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS), Space and Launch Division, seeks a Satellite Systems Engineer (Senior) supporting the team in Schriever, CO. Our team develops new global military satellite communications (MILSATCOM) ground systems that manage transmission of protected tactical waveform (a type of secure, anti-jam communication) over Boeing-built Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellites and terminals. Space and Launch work with proprietary customers and creates next generation technologies in space. We work all facets of engineering: technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments.
The Lead Satellite Systems Engineer (Senior) is part of a high-performing team immersed in dynamic satellite operations and engineering activities. As a member of our WGS on-orbit team, you lead a small team in supporting platform operations and engineering for 10 on-orbit satellites.
Lead (level 5): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Summary Pay Range: $164,900 - $223,100
