We have partnered with our client in their search for a Systems Engineer- MySQL using TSQL.
Responsibilities
- Deploy current applications into all production systems (Staging / PreProduction / UAT / PROD)
- Investigate reported issues
- Troubleshoot applications and systems
- Perform moderate testing of applications after they are deployed
- Assist in updating testing and deployment guidelines
- Monitor existing client systems to ensure all things work as expected
- Implement automation steps using proprietary worker/jobs management control system
- Handle communication with support team to triage issues related to running systems
- Construct SQL queries and/or programming scripts for investigating issues
- Diagnose system performance problems
- Assist with the daily support of systems/products through early detection and monitoring of systems
- Work closely with support groups assisting them in their analysis and problem recovery
- Other related duties as assigned
Skills Required
- Good and/or advanced understanding of SQL language programming
- Good problem-solving skills at system and application level
- Basic understanding of Windows OS systems
- Proficiency using TSQL language
- Basic but comprehensive understanding of MS‑SQL Server and SSMS functionality
- Experience working with JIRA/SCRUM environments
- Experience working with Windows Server BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- Ability to troubleshoot issues in application and hosting environments
- Willingness and desire to learn new systems and technologies
- Ability to work as part of collective teams and good verbal and written communication skills
Education & Work Experience
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering/Application Troubleshooting experience
