Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SQL.
• 4+ years of cloud experience with AWS or Openstack.
• Experience with documentation of procedures and design.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage and maintain internal development, testing and production databases.
• Install, configure, update and troubleshoot large environments.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Automate, backup and secure everything in production.
• Rapidly diagnose and fix production problems.

Skills

Architectural awareness of customer applications

Experience with MySQL NDB

Familiarity with Percona and MariaDB

Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements

MySQL and PostgreSQL replication technologies

Backup and recovery experience

Experience with Open Source databases

Experience with AWS or Openstack

Proven automation capabilities

Experience with Agile methodology
