L3Harris Technologies, Canoga Park, CA, is seeking a Specialist Systems Engineer to join the Missile Solutions SDVT team. You will work with senior engineers on planning, estimating, testing, data analysis and reporting to support system development and verification.

The role involves generating system requirements, managing test equipment, leading Test Readiness Reviews and delivering formal test reports. Travel up to 15% and ability to obtain a US Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of prior systems engineering experience or Graduate Degree with 2 years of experience; in lieu of degree, 8 years experience.
• Knowledge of propulsion, testing, data analysis and systems integration is preferred.
• Active US Secret Clearance is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Generate requirements for the rocket engine system to meet development objectives.
• Manage test equipment and instrumentation; analyze data and deliver test reports.
• Lead Test Readiness Reviews to ensure safety and readiness of test articles and facilities.
• Lead post-engine test data analysis and anomaly resolution; produce formal test reports.
• Provide on-site customer technical support for engine ground tests.
• Travel up to 15% for off-site testing support.
• Manage projects or processes with general supervision.
