Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist Systems Engineer in Canoga Park, CA to join the Missile Solutions SDVT team. You will collaborate with senior engineers on test planning, data analysis, and reporting across engine development and verification activities, supporting both on-site and off-site testing.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of systems engineering experience, or 8+ years without a degree, and the ability to obtain a US Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior systems engineering experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior systems engineering experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior systems engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate requirements for rocket engine system objectives.
• Manage and control test equipment and data.
• Develop and oversee test readiness reviews and facility requirements.
• Lead post-test data analysis and anomaly resolution.
• Provide on-site customer technical support for engine tests.
• Travel up to 15% for off-site testing as needed.
• Support project processes under general supervision and obtain security clearance.
