Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) seeks a Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer to join the IBCS Team, bridging MBSE, embedded software, and Model-Based Systems Engineering to define, develop, integrate, and verify embedded computing platforms that enable net-generation capabilities.

The successful candidate will collaborate across software, hardware, cybersecurity, specialty engineering, and program leadership to develop digital engineering solutions and ensure robust system

Qualifications

• MBSE applied to complex systems.
• Strong SysML knowledge and experience with system modeling.
• Experience developing and maintaining system architectures, interfaces, and models.
• Requirements analysis, decomposition, allocation, verification and validation.
• Active Secret Security Clearance to Start.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system architectures, functional/logical/physical models, interfaces and behavior.
• Apply MBSE across the lifecycle and support system-level trade studies.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, cybersecurity, and program leadership.
• Translate customer needs into technical requirements and system architecture.
