Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security seeks a Systems Engineer to join the Air Dominance SEIT in St. Louis, MO. You will lead cross-functional teams to design and verify complex systems and support MBSE within a CI/CD software environment.

The role requires strong communication skills, on-site collaboration, and the ability to obtain U.S. security clearance. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• 4+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• 3+ years of systems engineering experience involving system architecture development, including system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis, and verification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering teams in developing systems to meet project commitments.
• Leverage Systems Engineering experience to implement and refine the systems engineering approach for software development.
• Perform activities such as software data item reviews, JIRA administration, sprint planning, and integration of the software development effort.
• Support planning and execution of software configuration and data management processes.
• Support the program in implementing MBSE as part of digital engineering to meet customer expectations.
• Apply interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches to plan, design, develop and verify complex systems solutions.
