Job summary

Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) is seeking a System Engineer in Manassas, VA to manage requirements, support system design, and perform hands-on engineering tasks within an Agile environment. You will work on MBSE models, interfaces, and performance analyses.

The role requires a DoD SECRET clearance (U.S. citizen) and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with relocation assistance available. Salary range is $120,000–$180,000 per year plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technical discipline from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
• Candidate must have or be able to obtain and keep a DoD SECRET security clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Proactive/self-starter. Task driven with ability to work independently.
• Team player that takes ownership and develops relationships that fosters team success.

Responsibilities

• Requirements development, risk management, trade studies and interface development.
• Ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer/product requirements into a total system solution adhering to technical, schedule and cost imperatives.
• Perform functional analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definitions to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
