Job summary

Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) seeks a Model-Based Systems Engineer in Manassas, VA. The role blends requirements management with hands-on engineering, using Cameo MBSE to capture system behavior, interfaces, and allocations.

You will work within an Agile integration team, collaborating with software, cybersecurity, hardware, and safety engineers. You will support government design reviews, drive TB/TBR burndown in JIRA, and help ensure traceability from requirements to system

Qualifications

• Experience translating customer requirements into system solutions.
• Familiarity with verification and validation activities.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MBSE models (Cameo) capturing system behavior and interfaces.
• Lead and support complex interface definitions across software, cyber, hardware, and other subsystems.
• Translate requirements into hardware/software specifications and ICDs.
• Prepare content for government design reviews (CDR-like) with traceability views.
• Coordinate with teams to drive burndown and maintain SE documentation.
