Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Manufacturing Test Infrastructure Engineer to support deployment, bring‑up, qualification, and production release of manufacturing test stations for a high‑tech aerospace program. This role bridges Development Engineering and Production Operations to ensure stations are ready for production.

You will coordinate with multiple teams, perform integration and validation tasks, and help optimize test processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing test systems, test infrastructure, or hardware‑in‑the‑loop environments.
• Hands‑on experience with test station bring‑up and commissioning.
• Experience deploying and supporting software in production or test environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities between Development Engineering and the Production Floor during test‑station bring‑up.
• Perform hardware/software integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Deploy and support software across multiple manufacturing test stations.
• Bring up, commission, qualify, and release test stations for production use.
• Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Built‑In Self‑Test (BIST) validation.
• Develop test procedures, troubleshooting guides, and preventative maintenance plans.
• Train production operators on station software, test procedures, and troubleshooting.
• Support hardware subsystem integration and manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, systems, and manufacturing engineering teams to resolve issues quickly.
