Boarhog is accepting applications for a Senior Systems Engineer (Level III eCRAFT ESY3) in support of the Naval Information Warfare Systems Center (NIWC) Pacific's requirement for networking, communication, computer systems, and associated certification and information assurance for the development, current operations and planned upgrades for the Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES) Program.RESPONSIBILITIES:The Senior Systems Engineer will be an exceptional team player responsible for applying interdisciplinary engineering skills in the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of the Navy's Afloat Tactical Networks, performing all functional duties independently.Analyze the capabilities and constraints identified from users, sponsors, and stakeholders of CANES networks and communications systems, and generate performance and functional requirements to realize those capabilities. The solution may be for a new project or upgrade to existing CANES systems.Assess and analyze system concepts, functional capabilities, and performance specifications and validate against user needs.
