Overview

Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opening for a Systems Engineer - Level 5 in Chandler, AZ. The selected engineer will be part of an interdisciplinary team on a key effort to develop novel and innovative solutions to advanced technical problems. They will design and develop system architectures, define key capabilities and performance requirements, and ensure requirements are met through customer evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of system architectures.
• Support flight test-specific verification efforts, architecture, CONOPS, and use case development using model-based systems engineering methodologies.
• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Perform system requirements analysis.
• Automation workflow development of multi-disciplinary functional processes in support of engineering and business processes.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) with 12 years of related experience OR Master’s degree in STEM with 10 years of related experience OR PhD in STEM with 8 years of related experience.
• Active DoD government Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering with experience using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Experience in the military aerospace development environment is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
