Independent Living Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer in Miami to ensure stability and efficiency of IT infrastructure. You will manage, monitor, and upgrade servers and networks, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support end users and security.

The role emphasizes proactive problem resolution, routine maintenance, and adherence to disaster recovery practices to minimize downtime.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of systems admin/engineering experience in Windows environments.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Scripting experience (PowerShell or Bash) for automation.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain OS, software, and hardware across servers and network devices.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot to ensure high availability.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls for security/compliance.
• Perform backups, DR ops, and system updates to protect data integrity.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments on infrastructure upgrades.
